His favorite Bible verse is John 17:3: “Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

Pastor Artie lives in Friendswood, Texas, with Dulce, his wife of 48 years. He has two grown children, Jessica and George, and two gorgeous granddaughters, Nina and Naomi, who bring endless joy to his life.

Emigdio (Emilio) Rosales

Associate pastor

  • Rev. Emigdio's Bio

Rev. Emigdio (Emilio) Rosales is a Global Methodist Church (GMC) Ordained Elder who has served as Associate Pastor of Revive Church since October 2025.

Pastor Emigdio gave his life to Christ in his native Cuba at the age of eight and received his call to full-time ministry as an evangelist in the summer of 2002, when he was sixteen. He served as a youth and young adult leader before becoming an Associate Pastor in 2010 and a solo pastor in 2012. In May 2013, he, his wife Sucel, and their young son arrived in the United States as political refugees, and he returned to pastoral ministry in 2015.

Over the past decade, Pastor Emigdio has served congregations across Texas. He began by pastoring the Spanish-speaking congregation of First Methodist Church in Conroe, was appointed in 2018 to plant a new Hispanic church in Tyler, and in 2021 became the pastor of St. Paul’s in Tyler, which he

led through the disaffiliation process and into the Global Methodist Church. He was ordained an Elder by the Trinity Annual Conference in February 2023 and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Theology from Indiana Wesleyan University, along with ministerial certifications earned in both Cuba and the United States.

Church planting, outreach, and building clear pathways for discipleship have marked every season of his ministry, as has a particular gift for bringing people of different cultures together in the name of Jesus. Pastor Emigdio is passionate about preaching and teaching the Bible, personally inviting people into a relationship with Jesus, and walking alongside them as they grow in Him. A lifelong student of church history, he loves bringing centuries of Christian thought into conversation with everyday faith and contemporary culture, helping believers interpret and engage the world around them through the lens of Scripture. His favorite Bible verse is Psalm 119:105: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.”

Pastor Emigdio lives in Friendswood, Texas, with his wife, Sucel -a worship leader, singer, and pianist who has served alongside him in ministry since they married in 2010- and their son, Daniel.

Outside of the church, if you can find him, he is probably on a golf course, at the gym lifting weights, out walking with a podcast or audiobook in his ears, or watching soccer or the PGA Tour. More often than not, Sucel or Daniel is right there with him.
