At Revive Church Pasadena, we believe that understanding the Bible shouldn't be intimidating. Whether you have been studying Scripture for decades or are opening a Bible for the very first time, you will find a welcoming, supportive environment to learn and grow alongside a faithful Global Methodist community.

What to Expect on Thursday Nights

We have a high demand for mid-week options in our community because weekends can get crowded, and our Thursday evening format is structured to feed both your soul and your need for connection. We gather every week with a predictable, relaxed schedule:


  • 5:30 p.m. — Refreshments and Fellowship: We believe some of the best conversations happen around the table. Long-standing church members coordinate a wonderful spread of refreshments, sweets, coffee, and tea. It is a low-pressure, welcoming space to catch up with old friends and meet new ones.


  • 6:00 p.m. — Praise and Prayer: We transition our hearts into a brief time of collective worship. Together, we sing a thoughtful blend of timeless hymns and contemporary praise songs before lifting up the needs of our community in prayer.


  • 6:30 p.m. — Interactive Bible Study: This is where we dive into God's Word. Our studies utilize a helpful handout-style format so you can easily take notes, follow along, and track with the discussion.

We don't design our Bible studies to be dry, one-sided academic lectures. While we follow structured, enriching curriculum programs throughout the year, the atmosphere is entirely focused on open discussion.
